RUBY

ABOUT

Ruby is exactly the type of horse modern sport demands: an elegant, athletic five-year-old with effortless scope and a mind to match. Light-footed off the ground and naturally careful, she is still a touch green for her age, which only highlights how much more there is to come.
"Ruby is very athletic, light off the floor and has easy scope, but for me one of her biggest qualities is her mind. She develops every day, she is naturally careful, and I think that combination can take her very far in the sport. I can see her becoming a very good junior or young rider horse, but she could suit many different riders.”
Her sire, the Grand Prix stallion Kensington ES, brings together the valuable bloodlines of Cornet Obolensky and For Pleasure, while her grandsire Quasimodo Z competed at the very highest level and is regarded as one of the most influential sons of Quidam de Revel. Ruby is also a half-sister to the international 1.50m showjumper Isa-Fayen.
With her mentality, natural ability and versatility, Ruby has all the ingredients to go a long way.
