PIERRE

ABOUT

Among Abdel Said's favorites and it is easy to see why: he combines enormous power with a wonderfully smooth and comfortable ride.
"Pierre has a lot of power, but he is extremely comfortable and easy to ride. From the first time I sat on him, I loved the feeling. He is always there for his rider, very smart over a fence, and I truly believe he has all the ingredients to become a Grand Prix horse.”
Discovered on the Dutch National Cyclus after jumping a series of fantastic rounds, this six-year-old gelding is easy to ride, always connected to his rider and intelligent over a fence, all the ingredients of a future Grand Prix horse.
He is by Falaise de Muze, a proven source of quality showjumpers, and out of Lena, a daughter of the great VDL Cardento. His granddam, Culena VDL, competed internationally herself, while the family has also produced Southwind VDL, ridden by Cameron Hanley and Tiffany Foster, Celena VDL, ridden by Marlon Zanotelli and Sayre Happy, and Daniel Coyle's Lena VDL.
Pierre has the engine and the character to carry his rider to the biggest classes.
